It’s Monday – it must be Teela’s

Being a “man of leisure”, I thought I would be able to drive up to my hotel arriving at 3pm to get changed and over to Teela’s to help her get ready for the night.

Wrong, I had forgotten that my daughter was home on exam leave and I therefore had to wait until 1pm before organising my case etc. I then shot into town to pick up a couple of pies and a new razer and make up wipes before finally getting onto the road and following an artic for 11 miles on a long windy country road heading for the M1

Despite the initial delays, I still managed to check in for 3-45pm and quickly decided on what to wear. I had recently taken delivery of a new full length overbust corset from Vollers and it was into this I endeavored to secure myself. Once I had reached a point at which I couldn’t tighten the laces anymore, I tied them off and then struggled to bend over to pull on my knickers and tights! – memo to self, put underwear on before corset!

I decided to go with my new denim pencil skirt and top from M&S. After shoehorning myself into the skirt, fastening the button and pulling the zip up, whilst lying on my back, breathing in, (despite the corset!) I was then faced with having to move the skirt round through 180 degrees to position the zip at the back.

At least the top was a looser fit and went well with the skirt. To complement the red top, I chose my red heels and finished off with my blue casual jacket.

Make up complete, I walked out of my room past reception which had a number of guests booking in and out to my car. The tightness of the skirt caressed my legs at each step and was quite sensuous.

On trying to get into the driver’s seat in a ladylike manner, I failed miserably due to the combination of a tight full length corset and the skirt, luckily there was only an Asian lady within watching distance of my manoeuvring and a businessman on his mobile. Having finally inserted myself into the car, I carefully drove off and arrived at Teela’s for 6-30pm – so much for getting there early to help!

Getting out of the car was almost mission impossible but I managed it, I think everything had loosened up a little an I carefully walked over to the entrance.

As well as the more usual visitors, we had two new girls out for the first time and Suzanne managed to be there again.

Dressed as I was, I was careful not to end up sitting on one of the low slung sofas and restricted myself to a standard sit up and beg chair.

Tina, Justine, Mandy, Dianne were there and Kate joined us a little later and finally Lisa in bob mode dropped in after work at the back end of the evening.

After 3 cups of tea and an earlier coffee at the hotel, I finally had to address the tricky problem of going to the toilet. Ten minutes later, I re-joined the girls somewhat more comfortable and certainly more wiser regarding choice of clothing!

Once more as the evening came to an end , time to wish Kate a Happy Birthday for this coming weekend (unfortunately I can't join the girls as I am already out with my wife that Saturday) and to make arrangements to meet up with Karen on the following Saturday in Manchester.

Dianne has tentatively made arrangements with Teela to run a minibus down to Pink Punters in September, somewhere my wife and I can join them as we live within 70 miles.

Once more back to the hotel and as I only needed to be back home for an 11 40am appointment at the Job Centre, I made use of the time and put on a mini fashion show taking numerous piccies in the process.

Getting up early the following morning I dressed in a business suit and walked out of the hotel to the shop next door to pick up a newspaper and sandwich. Going through reception, at 6-30am, I was surprised to see a young lady behind the desk chatting to a young lad who wished me good day to which I mumbled a hasty reply. On re entering reception, the lad told me to smile and I grinned back asking him what he wanted from me at 6-30am! I am sure they must have had a chuckle after I left them.
Anyway, after changing back and a hot shower, packed etc I was on the road by 9am joining the thongs - oops throngs! on the M6 heading South.

Villagio's on a Wednesday

Once more heading up the motorway with my wife’s blessing for our monthly Wednesday meal out in the village and now officially unemployed.

Having spent the earlier part of the day working out what I was going to wear and packing accordingly, it was a streamlined Emma heading to Manchester – one suitcase and a shoulder bag as opposed to 2-3 cases, a box and two bags which I used to take.

Tina was wanting me to go out in my glittery short dress but I had already chosen to wear my new mid blue dress from BHS together with my peep toes Kurt Geiger pumps and my new white and pale blue pin striped jacket from M&S and new evening bag from Fiorelli to complete the ensemble.

I was dressed and ready by the time Mandy turned up followed by Tina who were both making use of my room in the Travelodge at Lymm. This time Mandy checked in her car to avoid the excess parking charge of £60 she incurred the last time she left her car outside.

Once Mandy was ready we spent the next 2 hours watching Tina finish her preparations! Well, not quite 2 hours!

Once ready, off we went leaving the room en masse dressed for the ball with Tina only just wearing a dress! I am not saying it was short but!
I drove into Manchester with Mandy whilst Tina went separately as she would be going straight home afterwards whilst Mandy had to go back to my room to change.

We parked at the top of Canal street once more and paid the £3.50 for after 6pm. We had tried for on the street parking but once more it seemed pretty busy with no spaces available.

Walking down to Tribeca we met up inside with Tina and had scarcely sat down with our drinks when Emma joined us wearing what could loosely be described as a denim belt, and what nice legs she has too!

The final girls of the group joined us; Kate resplendid as usual this time in her black pvc look leggings with a short dress / top and new girl Marlene.

Once assembled, we then made our way up Canal Street to Villagio’s where outside the entrance, Emma became the subject of some unwanted attention from a short scruffy murmuring individual who made a beeline for her. Kate and I intercepted him, myself preparing for the worst, but it was a non event and we all gained entrance up the steps into Villagio’s without any drama.

The meal was lovely and the service second to none albeit the place was very quiet. During the meal Tina’s Nicky joined us and I didn’t get a word in edgeways thereafter!! – no joking really, Nicky as usual was bubbling over and a great addition to the party. What was good about the reduced numbers was the ability to have a chat with everyone rather than separate groups.

Having completed the obligatory touch up in the ladies, we all made our way up to Manchester Concord at the Rembrandt for an hour before carrying on to Napoleons.

The place was full of the usual suspects and we all “enjoyed” a dance or two upstairs although once again I was hard pressed to recognise any of the songs played in the early part of the evening (midnight – 2am)

Retiring downstairs, we finished the evening having a “quiet” chat and taking a few piccies although once again Emma attracted unwanted attention.

Leaving Napoleon’s I made a big mistake, I chose not to make use of the toilets and so arriving back at the car was faced with an unfortunate dilemma – what to do now that my bladder was letting me know it was there!

What can a girl do but – well I’ll leave it to your imagination, suffice to say it’s not something I would recommend at 2 in the morning. All through this Mandy nonchalantly sat locked in the car looking straight ahead!

Regaining the car, a guy who had been in the vicinity of the car park came over and I carefully opened the window a few inches to answer his question as to where there was a party! On his way, I explained to Mandy that all I was thinking of was how much I could hurt him if he tried to reach into the car!

Back at the room, Mandy got changed and went on her way. I decided to stay in mood, removed my make up and undressed and climbed into bed in my nighty for a few hours sleep.

Waking up under no pressure as to timing, I had a leisurely bath and fresh shave, got dressed again this time to go shopping for the day. Make up was understated. I carefully packed my case and left Bob’s clothes and wipes etc in my shoulder bag for easy retrieval later in the day at Teela’s.

I wore my new full grey denim skirt, red top and red shoes with glossy tan tights and my white jacket and black bag – see picture.

At 9, I well and truly checked out as Emma as I handed my room key directly to one of the girls at reception. I guess that there are no doubts now as to what I do when staying at Lymm!

First stop was M&S at Gemini park Warrington where I picked up a tight stretchy denim pencil skirt (tight is not the word! see later post) and after a coffee realised that my current lipstick was not really right and so nipped into Boots where I picked up a new lipstick from Revlon, a replacement translucent powder from Max Factor and a small hair brush for my handbag. Changing my lipstick in the car I then drove over to Cheshire Oaks.

I spent the next 5 hours exploring the shops at the Oaks and treated myself to a new short skirt and pink top from M&S, and some black strappy wedges from Next – a bargain at £10.

For lunch, I ate at the brasserie and had the lamb shank followed by treacle tart. The food and service was excellent though not cheap and I was treated as usual with respect and courtesy from the staff.

One embarrassing moment came whilst visiting the ladies in the food hall. I carried out my business and on leaving the cubicle to wash my hands felt the back of my leg was wet. Looking down in horror I noticed that I had managed to catch part of my skirt when I flushed the toilet and so surreptitiously I rung the wet part of my skirt out and then continued to the washbasins.

At 3pm, I made my way to Teela’s who had just finished one of her photo sessions with a client and after a chat over coffee, got changed back into Bob.

Back on the road for 5pm, I made the 93 miles home for 6-30pm despite the traffic.

What no chicken!

On the way home from an extraordinary weekend with my wife, we decided that as time was getting on that we would forgo cooking anything when we got home but would treat ourselves to a Kentucky Fried Chicken bucket as our youngest was at home waiting for us.

Arriving back in town we went straight to the KFC and joined a small queue. After 20 minutes we got to the front and put our order in.

"Sorry we don't have any chicken left"

I asked when would the next batch be ready

"Sorry we don't have any chicken left"

You mean you don't have any chicken cooked or uncooked at all!!!

"Well we can do you a few pieces of boneless and some wings"

Fraid not, thanks for telling us when we first arrived that you didn't have any chicken left and promptly stomped out.

Plan B - a pizza!

Reminds me of the Monty Pythan cheese shop sketch!

A weekend out and about with the wife

Following on from my disclosure of Emma to my wife of 25 years, some 5 weeks ago and the first time she met Emma last Wednesday, we booked into The Atrium in Manchester for Saturday night and paid the additional money for a late check out on the Sunday.

The idea to go out with Emma was my wife’s as I would not have suggested such a trip so soon after meeting me as Emma in the flesh for the first time.

We both were quite nervous as we drove up to Manchester after a couple of hours shopping in Leicester during which I purchased another pair of jeans with 32” leg this time. The previous day we had had fun spending the morning trying on and choosing outfits for the two days, so we managed to get away with one suitcase.

Booking into the apartment, we split up into the bedroom where my wife got ready and the bathroom where I got ready. My wife did not want to see me get ready before I had my wig on and so this split of the space worked well.

Before we started, my wife gave me a pedicure and painted my toenails a nice shade of dark pink. This was the first time I had ever had painted toenails!

For the initial part of the day (late afternoon) I wore a tight pair of jeans and a black tunic with red, pink and white flowers on over a tight under wired black bra with fillets in which combined with my own flesh gave a convincing cleavage. On my feet I wore a pair of wedge sandals showing off my painted nails.

Once ready, we rode the lift down to reception and walked out past reception and onto the streets of Manchester both of us nervous for different reasons. My wife for accompanying her husband dressed as a woman and for me, worried how my wonderful wife would cope.

It was about 4ish and despite my reassurances to my wife, there were a lot of people milling around and no other obvious t-girls out that early, far more tourists!.

We strolled together up Canal Street in the late afternoon sunshine – yes sunshine (considering it was supposed to be raining!) until we reached Taurus where I had decided we would start our adventure.

Made welcome by the bar staff, “ladies, table for two!”, we decided to partake of the happy hour tariffs and ordered a cold bottle of Pinot Grigio to accompany the BBQ ribs – a lipstick killer! and the humous.

Sitting there together sipping wine, nibbling the food, we enjoyed the ambiance and engaged in wide ranging conversation revolving around my presence as Emma and the village and social scene.

The food was wonderful as I expected and my wife and I enjoyed the shared experience. Sitting behind us was a family with children and mixed groups all around as the venue was particularly busy.

One bottle down we decided that at £6 a bottle, it would be churlish not to have another. Anyway, my wife by now was far more relaxed and we slowly finished off the 2nd bottle. By now, a number of T girls had arrived at Taurus and my wife was taking it in her stride. So far so good!

As time was ticking, settling the bill for less than £25, we made our way back down Canal Street which by now had a number of girls out and about, and returned to our apartment to get ready for the evening.

Going through a busy reception was easier for my wife this time and we quickly got ready for the evening. We both put on a pretty dress and changed our make up for the evening. I decided to wear a pair of black KG peep toe heels to show off my painted nails with a LBD and black blazer and handbag.

Once again strolling through reception despite the presence of a number of families, was easier and we made the street by 8ish. I had decided that early evening we would go for a drink at Tribeca and so we made our way down to Sackville Street and entering into the bar, I was struck by the mix of customers. Normally when eating with the normal gang of girls on a Wednesday night, we meet for pre meal drinks in Tribeca and so in some respects I expected the usual mix of clientele – but not this night, it appeared very much a normal bar mix of groups. No problem, we ordered white wine spritzers and made our way upstairs to the mezzanine floor where we sat down in the midst of several young mixed groups of drinkers.

Once again, it seemed so natural sitting there in a pretty dress and heels chatting and sipping drinks with my wife. The fact that 5 weeks ago, my wife didn’t have a clue about Emma!

After 2 -3 drinks we got chatting to another Emma who was out with some of her friends for the evening. All too soon, it was time to move on and whilst my wife needed the toilet before leaving, I took advantage and joined her making use of the mirrors to re apply my lipstick adjacent to 3 girls and Emma. Not once was any eyebrows raised and we continued to chat whilst repairing the face and brushing out my hair.

Leaving the bar, we finally made our way to Napoleon’s. The supreme test of acceptance!

It was funny to see my wife having to pay to get in whilst my entrance was free. The bar was very busy and noisy and checking our jackets in we made our way downstairs and found a settee to chill out on with soft drinks by now.

We spent a pleasant hour people watching as the normal mix of girls, admirers etc passed through the downstairs bar. Finally we decided to check out the dance floor but decided that enough was enough and partly due to the drink but probably the stress my wife had incurred through the day’s experiences, tiredness won the day and at 2 in the morning we made our way back to the apartment passed all sorts of groups of revellers including at least one hen party.

Heels clicking as we made our way through reception, we retired to the comfort of our room and I returned to Bob mode (well apart from the candy pink finger and toe nails!) as I had promised. What a day!

Waking early on the Sunday, and with a coffee in me we both got ready for a day of shopping. I wore my new full length denim skirt and white top with blue jacket and cream heels. My wife – far more sensible than me chose jeans and top and wedge sandals.

Make up understated for the day, we made our way downstairs and walked over to the NCP car park where we had parked and shared a lift up to our floor with an elderly couple!

We drove over to Cheshire Oaks – a retail mall on the Wirral where I usually go as Emma when over Teela’s and where the previous weekend, whilst I was away on rugby tour, my wife had taken my youngest daughter to, to choose a prom dress and accessories.

Our first stop was the brasserie where we had breakfast. Fuelled up, we then walked the entire circuit of shops, sauntering into many on our journey. I purchased a new evening bag to go with my blue dress and heels I am wearing this coming Wednesday in Manchester, I treated my wife to a new leather bag from Tula’s. In La Sensa, my wife picked up two new bra’s and I purchased a control slip and knickers in black and cream. I also picked up a new red skirt whilst my wife bought a new purse.

With feet throbbing, we sat down outside of Millies Cook shop and had a coffee and cookie. Certainly no place for shrinking violets as we were right in the open next to the though way and a major road crossing. Whilst on the surface my wife seemed calm and controlled, afterwards I learned that she was far from comfortable. For myself, I find that turning down the sensitivity meter, I was oblivious to comments (if there were any made!) and the odd stare. My wife was on this first time, hyper sensitive and it drained her. Every credit to her that she didn’t just abandon me and run back to the car!

The only time I felt mildly uncomfortable during our 5 hours of shopping on a busy Sunday in the sunshine, was whilst hanging around in La Sensa whilst my wife tried on the bras. I was certainly the subject of a group of young girls in the store and it didn’t help that it was particularly warm and I had to keep my perspiration under control and try to keep my foundation in one place!

Once more back in the car, it became evident in our conversation of the stress that this shopping trip with Emma had caused her. Emotionally drained, we arrived back in Manchester and back in the room, I changed back whilst my wife made a cup of tea.

30 minutes later, we were leaving the apartment as we first arrived, a happy married couple who had just shared a pretty extraordinary weekend!

The other woman - the wife meets Emma in the flesh

Well, almost 28 days to the hour after telling my wife about Emma, she met Emma in the flesh.

Taking advantage of my youngest staying over at her boyfriend’s straight after school till late, we decided that last night would be a good test as to how far we have got in our relationship which now includes Emma.

The day started with my wife washing, drying and ironing my LBD which I was planning to wear as I had managed to drop a BBQ rib on it the previous Wednesday out with Kate and Mrs Kate and of course the foundation around the neck area. (foundation which doesn’t transfer!! – yeah!)

I in the meantime on the way to my office to finish clearing out my stuff, called in at Fosse Park and had a walk around the shops looking for things for Emma. My first port of call was BHS where I picked up a new pair of boot cut stretch jeans, 31” leg and size 14, 4 tops and a stretchy ¾ length mid blue dress.

At Boots I treated myself to a new Chanel lipstick and matching lip liner and nail varnish and in M&S a necklace and matching earrings and a bracelet which would go with the necklace.

Driving home after work, I picked up an Indian meal and some afters and laid the table, prepared the food so that all we had to do was put it in the oven when ready and opened a bottle of 2002 St Emilion to let it breathe.

By this time, it was nearly 5pm and my wife was expected home by 6-30 and so after a close shave, I got dressed (I used my daughter’s room leaving our bedroom for my wife). Before putting on my face I quickly checked the fit of my purchases. The jeans are unbelievably tight – no problem in tucking – I needed a shoehorn to get them on but when on and the belt fastened – wow! The tops looked as good on me as I had hoped and the blue dress I intend to wear out in Manchester this Saturday (more about this later!)

To keep cool whilst getting ready, I borrowed a fan from the conservatory and switched off the central heating.

I was in the middle of applying my make up when my wife got home and finished whilst she herself got ready.

The moment of truth was rapidly approaching. Both of us had all week been somewhat nervous of this encounter and it was with a certain degree of trepidation I carefully walked down the stairs to join my wife in the lounge.

My wife was wearing a beautiful red and black dress and heels and looked a million dollars.

The first seconds seemed to take hours but the world didn’t come to an end. My wife didn’t run away. My heart eventually dropped back to a more normal level and we exchanged our first words.

Sipping the first glass of wine sitting next to each other on the sofa was certainly a new experience for both of us and soon we decided to start dinner with the Indian starters and another glass of wine. Walking into the kitchen, both our heels clicking on the stone tiled floor was yet another experience imprinted in my mind.

Having chatted and chatted for hours, we decided that we would skip the main course and continue with the pudding – chocolate miniature puddings that is.

During the conversation my wife suggested that whilst are youngest was staying over with friends in Leicester on Saturday, why don’t we (Emma and my wife) go out in Manchester for the night!

Well you could have knocked me down with a feather. In nano seconds I accepted this offer – well who wouldn’t!

The final hour before picking our daughter up was spent with me trying on my recent purchases and giving my wife chance to comment. Then it was my wife’s turn to show me what she had purchased whilst accompanied by our youngest the previous weekend when out shopping for a prom dress and shoes for my youngest over at Cheshire Oaks.

Finally, we could wait no longer and as my wife left to pick up our daughter I quickly removed my make up and dived into the shower, tidying up my clothes later after she had gone to bed.

Well – who would have thought that we would be in this position only 4 weeks after disclosure. My wife really is very special and I love her loads!!

T for two

Last Wednesday I was late leaving work after only getting into work late having been to the Building Society to discuss agree strategy re my forthcoming unemployment

I got to the hotel at 6-30pm due to heavy traffic on the M6 and leaving late and as I was meeting Kate and Mrs Kate at Taurus for 7-30pm I didn't have much time.

Luckily, (or should that be unluckily) Kate had had a bad day and only got home at 7pm and also was running late so we agreed a later time to meet - 8-30pm

I managed to leave the hotel by 8pm and got to the village for 8-30pm only to find there were no available parking places off street - so after 3 times round the block I decided to put my car in the 24hr park at the top of Canal Street which cost me £5 and then made my way to Taurus.

Kate and Mrs Kate had by now arrived and had order their starters which I then shared before plumping for the Cajun Salmon.

By the time we had finished, it was quite late and so we didn't call into Manchester Concorde but went straight to Naps.

It was really great to bump into June and Penelope over from Ireland and Jayne who was positively walking on air since starting her RLE. However, it was a strange sort of atmosphere there that night and after a bit of dancing, we retired downstairs, finished our drinks and departed.

On my way back up Canal Street I was approached by a girl from a mixed party asking where I was going and where was the nearest party! "Back to my car" I said and pointed back down the street (it was 1-30am!) she seemed to think I would know!

Back at the car I was propositioned by this drunken guy. I suggested he did something else (certainly not ladylike!)and got in my car for the return trip to the hotel!.

I stayed in Emma mode overnight having cleaned my make up off and moisturised!

I made use of a nighty I have had for some time with glue on forms.

Getting up, I dressed in a pencil skirt, chemise and gold blouse and cream heels. Understated makeup completed, I packed and trundled my luggage to the car avoiding various business men checking out and then drove over to M&S at Gemini where I spent an hour checking out the clothes and finally choosing a new perfume. At 10am I walked over to the cafe and ordering myself a coffee sat down waiting for Mrs. Kate.

Bang on 10am, Mrs. Kate arrived and we sat down having a chat over our drinks. On finishing, we took my car over to Cheshire Oaks and had a very pleasant morning in and out of the shops. I was pretty good for most of the day purchasing a new bra and knickers (black) from M&S and a beautiful full flouncy denim skirt (14) which falls to 6" above my ankles in Roman Originals. The woman on the changing cubicles was ever so pleasant and made me feel really at ease even though two women in the next cubicles were discussing hot flushes!at the time

Mrs. Kate purchased a new bag and we then went over to Teela's where we had a coffee and chat before returning to the fray!

I can't begin to explain how wonderful if felt shopping with Mrs. Kate - far too natural!

Late afternoon, we stopped at the brasserie and ordered an afternoon tea for two - sandwiches, cake, scones and a pot of tea. We obviously set a trend in that a few other couples ordered the same after we received ours!

After filling our faces, I realised that my old handbag (a £6 special from Asda's years ago) was showing signs of distress so I decided to treat myself to a new leather one!

I think I must have caught Mrs. Kate's enthusiasm for bags as I ended up buying one which started life at over £175 but I managed to buy for a mere £77!!!

I am however very pleased with it.

With the final purchase made and my feet screaming at me, we made our way back to Teela's for me to change. the end of a great day - my thanks to Mrs. Kate for making it so.

Hopefully the next time around the Oaks, Kate and my wife maybe able to accompany us and make it really special.

Emma - a girl who likes to shop!
